The Senior Business Intelligence Developer's primary responsibility is the independent design and development of business intelligence solutions leveraging advanced data science and analytical techniques to extract valuable insights from complex data sets.

Specific Responsibilities and Duties

• Performing data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and correlations within large datasets.
• Developing predictive models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
• Implementing machine learning techniques for classification, regression, clustering, and anomaly detection.
• Utilize statistical methods to validate model performance and ensure accuracy.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences through clear and compelling visualizations and presentations.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in data science and technology to drive continuous improvement

Working Conditions

• 24/7 high energy casino with over 300,000 sq. ft of gaming and entertainment space and approximately 3000 employees

Qualifications

Job Requirements (skills, knowledge, and abilities)

• 2 years of experience in data analysis and predictive modeling.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as R and Python for data manipulation and analysis.
• Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms and techniques.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Familiarity with SQL for data extraction and manipulation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid gaming license as determined by the Maryland State Lottery and Gaming Commission and for the Pennsylvania Gaming Commission for the position.
